Victoria Caroline Beckham (born on 17 April 1974) is an British fashion designer.

Early life and career in music

Born in Harlow, England. Victoria is the eldest of 3 siblings. As a kid she danced and decided to pursue a career in music.

In 1994 she auditioned to become a member of a all girls group which later became known as the Spice Girls. Victoria got her nickname Posh from those days as she was the most put together of all five band members.

With the popularity of the Spice Girls, Beckham became known worldwide and became a fashion icon.

Fashion Career

Beckham started branching towards fashion by making a debut guest appearance as a catwalk model at the London Fashion Week for Maria Grachvogel in 2000.

In 2003, she became a representative British ambassador for Dolce&Gabbana. Moreover, she was face of Rocawear for a brief time during this period.

In 2004, Beckham went on to design her own fashion line called: "VB Rocks" for american jean brand Rock & Republic as a limited edition. Started up with jeans, by 2006 the line was expanded to include a full women's line, children's wear, and men's jeans. The line was discontinued by 2008.

In 2006, she modelled again for Roberto Cavalli's collection at the Milan Fashion Week.

Victoria launched her eponymous fashion label called Victoria Beckham in 2008, and by 2011 she was presenting her collection at New York Fashion Week as a regular fixture. She also launched an more affordable line called "Victoria" Her fashion show in september 2012 was a trending topic on Twitter.

She opened her flagship store on Dover Street, London in fall 2014.
